Faster, Smarter, Together: Introducing the All-New Real-Time Guest List (Beta)

If you’ve been following our blog, you might have noticed it’s been a little quiet around here lately.

We haven’t been resting. In fact, it’s been quite the opposite. For the past several months, our team has been heads-down, working diligently under the hood of our entire platform. We’ve been refactoring core portions of our codebase with one singular goal: continual improvement meant to make your experience faster, stabler, and easier to use.

We know that as an event organizer, you don’t have time to wait for pages to load or worry about data syncing. You need tools that move as fast as you do.

Today, we are incredibly excited to unveil the first major result of this behind-the-scenes work: A completely reimagined Guest List Editor.

Not Just an Update—A Transformation

More than a year ago, we released the first version of our guest list editor. It was a significant step forward in moving away from clunky CSV uploads and towards on-screen management.

But “good” wasn’t enough for us. We saw how you were using it—often with large teams, managing hundreds or thousands of guests under tight deadlines. We realized that to truly serve you, we needed to build something significantly more powerful.

We didn’t just patch the old version; we rebuilt the engine from the ground up.

Say Goodbye to “Spreadsheet Tag”

The single biggest game-changer in this new version is real-time collaboration.

Drawing inspiration from tools like Google Sheets, the new Guest List allows you and your team to work on the same list at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes.

Here is what makes this new version so exciting:

• Real-Time Sync: See exactly where your colleagues are working on the grid. When they make an edit—fixing a typo in a name or assigning a seat—it updates on your screen instantly. No refreshing required.

• Connection Protection: Internet spotty at the venue? No problem. If your connection drops, the editor detects it and temporarily locks to prevent data loss. Once you reconnect, it automatically syncs with the server to ensure you have the latest version.

• Massive Bulk Power: Need to add 500 guests right now? You can add hundreds of blank rows with a single click. Need to send confirmation emails to 1,000 attendees? Select them all and hit send. The new backend architecture handles heavy lifting without breaking a sweat.

• Smart Validation: The grid now actively helps you keep your data clean, highlighting invalid email addresses or missing required info in red so you can catch errors before you save.
