Sam Barsh:

With a GRAMMY-winning and Multi-Platinum discography of over 300 records
to thousands of live performances all across the globe,
producer, songwriter and keyboardist Sam Barsh is a true musical triple-threat.

Bringing his experience as a top-call pianist on the NYC jazz scene to studio
collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak and The Weeknd,
Barsh has successfully been on the front line of re-incorporating sophisticated
harmony into today’s popular music.

Heavily steeped in the jazz world as well as music
production and songwriting , Barsh toured with the iconic bassist and
composer Avishai Cohen’s trio for 3 years, recording 3 albums and a
live DVD at New York’s famed Blue Note jazz club. He has worked with
many renowned jazz artists, including Cassandra Wilson, Gregory Porter,
Jane Monheit, Roy Hargrove, Snarky Puppy, Robin Eubanks and Lonnie Plaxico.

Barsh has written and/or produced over 300 commercially released
songs, with 17 Gold and Platinum certifications and 4 #1 albums on the
Billboard 200. He co-wrote the Kanye West feat. The Weeknd and Lil
Baby single “Hurricane” which reached #1 on multiple charts, and won
the GRAMMY Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance. Barsh also co-wrote
the smash Aloe Blacc song “The Man,” which sold 4 million singles
worldwide and reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart and #8 on the
Billboard Hot 100.

His work as a songwriter and keyboardist on Kendrick Lamar’s
Platinum-certified album “To Pimp A Butterfly” won 3 GRAMMY Awards and
a nomination for Album of the Year. Barsh was nominated for the 2021
GRAMMY Award for Best R&B song as a co-writer on Tiana Major9 and
EarthGang’s single “Collide” and a 2022 GRAMMY for album of the year
as a songwriter on Kanye West’s “Donda”. His work on Anderson .Paak’s
groundbreaking album “Malibu,” BJ the Chicago Kid’s “In My Mind,”
Ledisi’s “Let Love Rule” and on the “Spider-Man: Into the
Spider-Verse” soundtrack has garnered an additional 4 GRAMMY
Nominations. Other notable studio credits include songs with A$AP
Rocky, J.Cole, Logic, Norah Jones, Eminem and Macy Gray.

Barsh has released 2 full length albums and 2 EPs as part of the electro-pop
duo Palter Ego along with vocalist Jesse Palter, as well as a number
solo projects: the “Sam Barsh and the Deli” Spotify Sessions which has
amassed over 19 million streams; “The Nine,” an album commissioned by the
Skirball Center for their “Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of
Ruth Bader Ginsburg” exhibit; and a series of instrumental beat compilations.

At a very early age, Vashon Johnson discovered his profound love of music. It wasn’t long before he began turning industry ears with a unique style and solid command of his instrument, eventually leading to performance opportunities with such artists as Betty Carter, Dianne Reeves, Miley Cyrus, Natasha Bedingfield, Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, Donald Fagen, Joan Jett, Carly Simon, Patti LaBelle, Shania Twain, Wynton Marsalis, Stephanie Mills, Shanice, Deborah Cox, CL Smooth, Philippe Saisse, Marc Antoine, The Flaming Lips, Trisha Yearwood, Noah Cyrus, Jessica Simpson, Boyz II Men, Billy Ray Cyrus, Cristian Castro, Yolanda Adams, Sheryl Crow, Ariana Grande, Ingrid Michaelson, Seal, The Jonas Brothers, Greg Osby, B.B.
