About the Event

Since 2012, Imagine Englewood if (IEi) has organized Greater Englewood Unity Day for residents, community members, and stakeholders to clean up and celebrate the growing power of collaboration in the community. Unity Day was created out of two beliefs (1) Our youth and families deserve a clean community and (2) individually we can achieve great things, but together we can achieve a lot more.

Volunteer Shift 1: 8:00am – 10:00am

Volunteers will help with setting up for the events, event registration, t-shirt and tools distribution, serving of light breakfast, and greeting participants.

Volunteer Shift 2: 10:00am – 12:00pm

Volunteers will help clean up the registration area and set up for the Unity Day celebration. These activities include moving light to heavy items, serving refreshments to volunteers, and decorating the celebration area.

Volunteer Shift 3: 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Volunteers will help with Unity Celebration activities. These activities include serving lunch, coordinating and monitoring youth activities, assisting with raffle and award ceremony. Volunteers will also help with clean up on event grounds.
