About the Event
The National Black MBA Association, Chicago Chapter’s State of the Organization event is our premier annual gathering, bringing together key stakeholders, community leaders, and advocates for diversity and economic empowerment. This inspiring evening celebrates our 2024 milestones, highlights our transformative impact in the community, and unveils bold plans for 2025.
Under this year’s theme, “Elevate Together: A New Era Begins,” the event symbolizes a renewed commitment to empowering Chicago’s Black community through professional development, education, and economic opportunities. Attendees will hear from chapter leadership, network with peers and corporate partners, and explore opportunities to support our mission—all while enjoying drinks and light bites.
The evening also features the swearing-in of new officers, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for our organization. Join us as we celebrate, connect, and elevate together!

The CCNBMBAA is a professional Organization that serves as a resource for communicating information and ideas among Black Executives, Entrepreneurs, Educators, and Students in the Chicago area who are interested in improving the effectiveness of Black businesses and Black business professionals. The goals and objectives of the CCNBMBAA are:
- Establish and maintain an effective information and communications network which will serve the membership and the business community.
- Provide continuing business education as a means of improving and maintaining the skills and effectiveness of the members and support the efforts of those planning to pursue advanced business degrees.
- Provide scholarships for those intending to pursue business related degrees.
- Encourage scholarly research in those areas of business which affect the Black community.
- Provide a service to the community, whenever requested, managerial and technical assistance to Black Entrepreneurs and businesses.
