How It Works
When you create or edit an event, you’ll now see a shiny new ✨ AI Assist button right above your event description editor. Click it, pick an action, and let AI do the heavy lifting.

- ✂️ Make Shorter — Condenses a wordy description down to roughly half its length without losing the essentials.
- 📝 Expand & Enrich — Takes a bare-bones description and adds compelling detail, depth, and structure.
- 👔 More Formal — Rewrites your text in a polished, professional tone — perfect for corporate events and galas.
- 😊 More Casual — Gives your description a friendly, approachable vibe — great for community meetups and social gatherings.
- 🪄 Generate from Notes — Got a few bullet points or rough notes? This turns them into a fully fleshed-out event description.
Preview Before You Apply
AI Assist never overwrites your work without asking. Every suggestion is shown in a preview modal first, where you can:
- ✅ Apply the changes if you like what you see
- 🔄 Try Another to get a fresh take with the same action
- Discard to go back to your original text, no harm done
And if you change your mind after applying? Just hit the ↩ Undo button. We keep up to five levels of history, so you can experiment freely.
It Knows Your Event
Here’s where it gets smart. AI Assist doesn’t just rewrite text in a vacuum — it reads the context of your event. It pulls in your event title, venue, location, dates, ticket prices, and event type to generate descriptions that are actually relevant and on-brand. A black-tie charity gala gets a very different description than a Saturday morning kids’ workshop, and AI Assist understands that.
Safe by Design
We take security seriously, especially when integrating third-party AI:
- All requests are authenticated and nonce-verified
- AI-generated HTML is sanitized through WordPress’s
wp_ksesbefore it ever reaches your editor - Google’s safety filters block harmful content categories automatically
- Rate limiting prevents runaway usage, and admins can adjust limits at any time
