Reginald T. McCants @ Copper Still 8pm Friday Nov 24th

Reginald T. McCants has been called one of the most excitng keyboard players on today’s music scene. He brings so much energy to a performance his band members have been known to say, “Don’t get on the stage with him unless you’re ready to give 100%”. He has a degree in music business and composition from the University of Memphis which enhances his ability to take his performances and his audience on an exhilarating musical journey!
He has performed at major venues throughout Chicagoland: The Venue(Horseshoe Casino Hammond), Country Club Hills Theater, The Chicago Theater, The House of Blues etc. opening for acts: Kem, Dave Koz and Friends, Jeffery Osborne, Average White Band, and the Ohio Players. He’s been the featured Artist at “Jazzin’ at the Shedd”, and many corporate and private events.
Reginald composed the theme song and was the musical director for Cedric the Entertainer’s “Urban Circus Comedy Special” that aired on the TBS Network with special guest Jerry Seinfeld. He was also Bernie Mac’s musical director and composed the theme song for his HBO Specials, “Midnight Mac”.
