Intermediate Orienteering Class

Now that you have the basics of land navigation down and can confidently complete a beginners orienteering course it is time to step your game up.   In this 4 hour workshop, we will cover: pace counting, relocation, UTM plotting, contouring,  navigation by feature, night navigation techniques,  turning your 3 hour errors into 3 minute ones.

The workshop begins with (outdoor) classroom instruction,  followed by pacing practice and bearing drills.  We then finish the day with a guided walk through an orienteering course, where each participant can get one-on-one coaching.
