About the Event

Finding commercial space for a business can be tough and the economic fallout produced by COVID-19 didn’t help.  But recently, there has been a resurgence of commercial real estate availability as the economy improves.   If you’re interested in securing a location for your store, offices or workspace, the Chamber has information for you.  Long-time attorney Charles Holley will offer advice to small business owners seeking to land a commercial location to call home.  You learn: what size is the right size, how to negotiate lease duration, advice on security deposits and how to investigate a landlord.  In addition,  you hear about commercial vs. residential leases, insurance  and property taxes.  The seminar will also cover insurance, maintenance issues(both interior and exterior)  Security, parking, utilities (water, gas, electric) and internal/external modifications.

Attorney Charles Holley is a partner at Golden, Holley James LLP.  He has vast experience in real estate and corporate governance law.
