Harlem awakened the world. Atlanta activates the future.
Black Music Week (BMW ATL) — Powered by bamX — is Atlanta’s New Renaissance: a gathering of the artists, executives, creatives, and communities who don’t just celebrate where Black music has been — they build where it’s going. Rooted in Atlanta and built to reverberate globally, BMW ATL is the annual opening of Black Music Month and the moment a movement announces itself. This year, delegations from South Africa join Atlanta on the floor — proof that the renaissance doesn’t stay in one city.
The Harlem Renaissance happened in one city, and its reverberations shaped the world for a century. This is Atlanta’s moment. BMW ATL unites culture, commerce, and community — connecting pioneers with the next generation, drawing global audiences into Atlanta’s creative ecosystem, and ensuring Black music thrives not only as an art form, but as a self-sustaining economic engine that powers futures. This year, Atlanta welcomes delegations from South Africa — and that’s just who’s confirmed.
Every renaissance is built on pillars.
Music industry stakeholders. Civic and corporate leaders. Creatives. Passionate supporters of the culture.
Attendees are coming from across the diaspora — South Africa, and beyond. The culture is convening. The question is whether you’re in the room.
BMW ATL is where pioneers and the next generation meet — the Epicenter of Black Music, staged in Atlanta and ignited around the world. If you’re shaping the culture, this is where you belong.
Thirteen days in Atlanta. Artists, executives, creatives, and fans — coming together to celebrate, connect, do business, and shape what’s next for Black music. This is the full arc of Atlanta’s New Renaissance.
Days that don’t repeat. The conversations, the connections, the moments — they happen here, and they don’t get a replay.
One registration. Both weeks. The full arc of the movement.
