The Chicago (IL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is pleased to present the Mental Health & Wellness Symposium 

What to Expect:

  • Women & Girls Mental Wellness Workshops (Ages 13+) 
  • Brotherhood Bonding in the Man Cave
  • Guided Meditation and  Self Care Workshops
  • Maternal Wellness Workshop
  • Community Resource Fair
  • Light Breakfast and Lunch 

Special Guests Include:

  •  Dr. Inger Burnett-Zeigler, a licensed clinical psychologist and mental health policy expert, will deliver a powerful keynote on mental health wellness, offering insights on mindfulness, self-care, and holistic well-being.

 

  • Dr. Joel Johnson and Dr. Pete Thomas will guide discussions on navigating life’s challenges, building resilience, and strengthening support networks in our Man Cave. Through interactive conversations, role-playing, and practical techniques, participants will gain valuable tools to enhance their well-being. Attendees are encouraged to wear sports apparel to foster camaraderie and connection.

In addition to engaging sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with organizations and resources that support stress management, emotional resilience, trauma recovery, maternal mental health, family wellness, and self-care for women and girls. Whether you’re looking for therapy options, mindfulness programs, community support groups, or wellness coaching, this event will provide direct access to experts and services designed to empower and uplift individuals and families.
