Previously, while Event Managers could expertly handle ticket sales, attendee management, and check-ins for events already in progress, they couldn’t start new ones. This often left organizers acting as the primary bottleneck for every new event launch.

With this update, you can now delegate the creation process itself. You maintain full ownership and control, while your trusted team members gain the flexibility to build new experiences under your account.

How It Works

We’ve kept the user experience simple and secure:

  • Granular Control: Within the Manage Teams dashboard, you can now toggle the Create on behalf permission specifically for team members assigned the Event Manager role.

  • Ownership Stays With You: Even when a manager creates an event, it remains under your organizer account, ensuring your Direct Payouts and financial integrations remain untouched and secure.

  • Additive, Not Disruptive: This update does not change your existing team structure. Your Check-In Only and View Only roles continue to function exactly as they did before. You choose exactly who gets this new capability and can revoke it at any time.
