About the Event

Black Hikers Week (June 20th – 25th) is coming and we want to kick off the annual week long celebration with a nice, family friendly hike that radiates black joy, black love and black people taking up space outdoors.  Please join us!
 
One lucky family will be chosen to receive an annual pass to our nations National Parks while 3 of our young hikers will leave with REI goody bags.

All participants MUST register & sign a waiver to participate .
 
This meetup is not affiliated with the City of Huntsville, AL or North Alabama Land Trust.
*In the event of inclement weather, meetup will be cancled/re-scheduled.

What to expect: 1-mile upstream hike and back. If we’re lucky, we may see a small waterfall!

BKA is a community of likeminded individuals looking to expand on their outdoor journey and create memories as a family. We are not a professional guide service that assumes any responsibility for your safety.
