Friday, April 25, 2025, 7:00-9:00 PM
On Friday, April 25, we will host a welcome mixer at Seven Ten Social in the trendy Hyde Park neighborhood, just a few minutes away from the host hotel, Sophy Hotel.
We will have access to 8 bowling lanes, exclusive to our group. This will be a space to fellowship and connect with fellow YPs and supporters.

Saturday, April 26, 2025, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
On Saturday, April 26, we will be hosting a “learn and serve” portion of our weekend at the Chicago Urban League. We will host a leadership development workshop for attendees from around 9:30-12 followed by a community day from 12:30-3.
As part of the “learn” portion of our upcoming event, we are aiming to inspire and equip young Black professionals with the tools to become more effective advocates and activists. We will have Sista Afrika Porter, a heavy hitter in Chicago, serve as our key speaker.

For the “serve” portion of the event, we will be engaging in a group service project. Directly after the morning talk, we will invite local residents to come fellowship, receive groceries/food, and community resources. This will be an opportunity to give back and create impact for our neighbors.

This event is intended to raise funds, and to recognize young leaders who are transforming their communities through service, advocacy, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Brunch catered by MC catering, drinks by Molson Coors, and vibes curated by DJ KMBRK.
