Founder/CEO Victor Love created MentalHood Culture from his personal journey of healing, faith, and mental health awareness. Recognizing the challenges many Black men face including trauma, stress, relationships, fatherhood, careers, and everyday pressures, Victor wanted to create a safe space for men to be heard, supported, and empowered.
What began as a monthly breakfast gathering grew into a movement of brotherhood, honest conversations, and community healing. Through the “Getting a Check Up from the Neck Up” Tour, MentalHood Culture is breaking barriers around mental health and connecting men with resources and support. Since launching, the tour has impacted communities across Illinois and continues to grow through partnerships focused on helping men heal, thrive, and build stronger communities.
MentalHood Culture: Brotherhood. Healing. Support. Change.
