Hawaii to the Midwest: Intro to Paddle Boarding w/ SUP St. Louis 10.4.20

About the Event

Join us This Sunday October 4th as we bring Hawaii to St. Louis! We are teaming up with SUP St. Louis for into to paddle boarding! This will be a 3.5 mile guided float with instruction and is great for beginner to intermediate paddle boarders.
 

  • Location: Route 66 state park
  • 3.5 mile float trip
  • Arrive at 10:00am at Route 66 State park in the parking lot of the boat ramp.
  • Checkin and get on shuttle at 10:30am
  • Arrive on water by 11am
  • Conclude no later than 3pm
  • Paddle boards and life jackets are included
  • Cost: $40
  • What to wear: breathable athletic or swim clothes. Dress warm
  • What to bring: sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, sun glasses, lunch, and  snacks, water (freezing some is recommended), refreshments, a small cooler or cooler bag, waterproof phone case/bag, bungee cords, water shoes or old sneakers, a towel, a change of clothes, A jacket, ABSOLUTELY no glass bottles, waterproof speaker (optional), go pro or waterproof camera (optional), a bag to carry your belongings (waterproof recommended).
  • While paddle boarding down the river we will stop at various sand bars to take breaks.
  • If you are not driving, leave your keys in someone else’s car. It is very possible that you may flip and and all of your belongings can be carried down river if not connected to paddle boards
  • Everyone will be required to fill out a Covid waiver that will be emailed upon registration. The waiver will include information that will have to be disclosed such as if you or anyone in your household has been sick within the last 14 days. The waiver must be completed and returned prior to the hike. Masks are required to be worn and strict social distancing policies will be followed.
  • Your $40 includes 1 paddle board, 1 life vest, and guided tour with instructions

This is limited to the first 20 people to register. Registration closes Friday at noon.
