About the Event

  1. Did you know if you are 16 you can pre-register to vote so that when you turn 18 your information is already on file? If you are 17 you can vote in the 2024 primary election and the 2024 presidential election if it occurs after your 18th birthday. Exercising your power to vote is the one of the most effective ways to make your concerns heard. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to get your pre-registration taken care of while laughing, skating, and having a great time with other teens in your community. Don’t forget to bring your driver’s license, student id, or driver’s permit to register, along with knowing the last 4 digits of your social security number.

The first 20 teens to arrive will receive a ticket for pizza/hotdog, chips, and soda.

Organizer

South Suburban Chicago Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

The mission of our organization is dedicated to nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.  Our activities and community service initiatives not only operate to benefit the children of the members of our organization, but the children of the very communities where we reside.

Thanks to our many contributors and sponsors, each year our South Suburban Chicago Chapter has been able to provide financial assistance to area high school students from the profits generated from our annual fundraiser.  We have also established formidable relationships with a number of community partners such as The Boys and Girls Club of Ford Heights, The Chicago Food Depository, The March of Dimes, and Respond NOW.

We look forward to being able to expand our reach within the community and with the help of supporters like you, together we will be the creators of the change that we all want to see.
