The Money Matters Institute (MMI), led by the Chicago Treasurer’s Office, empowers Chicagoans with financial education to build generational wealth. Through in-person workshops, digital tools, and resources, MMI covers budgeting, saving, credit, debt reduction, and wealth-building while supporting homeownership and small businesses.
In 2025, MMI will focus on key audiences while continuing to offer inclusive workshops citywide.
