Finance is everywhere, yet for many, its power remains hidden in plain sight. From credit scores and student loans to investment portfolios and private equity, the financial system shapes the opportunities we have, the choices we make, and the futures we can build.“The Best Kept Secret: How Finance Shapes Your Future” is an engaging, eye-opening introduction to the world of finance, designed to demystify the industry, highlight its daily relevance, and spark awareness of the trillion-dollar systems most people are never taught to navigate. This event also honors the legacy of Tulsa’s Black Wall Street, a vibrant community of Black entrepreneurs, professionals, and investors in the early 20th century whose financial and cultural success was tragically erased during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The rise and fall of Black Wall Street serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of financial agency, collective economic power, and the need to reclaim and rebuild generational wealth in our communities.Whether you’re just beginning your financial journey or seeking a deeper understanding of how money moves the world, this conversation will offer insights, tools, and inspiration to take control of your financial future and ensure that the next Black Wall Street doesn’t just survive, but thrives. Join us as we unlock the secrets, strategies, and stories that can shape your future, for good.
