Jefa to Jefa 2020

It’s official, we have rescheduled this event! We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we took time to reflect on the previous events. 

Prospanica Chicago and Healthy Hood have teamed up again to bring you Jefa to Jefa! 

This year’s Jefa event is centered around the action of ‘asking for help’. We are a Jefa community and we want each other to know that we have each other’s back especially during these unprecedented times. We know that as women we are under cultural pressure to portray this image that we have it all under control. Jefa to Jefa is an opportunity to celebrate and define what it means to be a Jefa while letting our guard down and feeling safe to ask for help.

Our key speakers will be focusing on Prospanica’s three pillars: Education, Social, and Economic.

• Samara Mejia Hernandez from Chingona Ventures: Personal Finance

There will be an opportunity for you to virtually mingle with your fellow jefas during the event. This is your chance to ask for help or give help!

This event is a FREE virtual event, we simply ask for a donation that will go directly towards both our non-profit organizations.

At ProspanicaChi and Healthy Hood, part of our mission is to support local latinx businesses! We have partnered up with several Chicago small businesses and curated an exclusive Jefa Box only available for this event! Box purchase available under ticket options.

Please note, if you are within Chicago we are able to personally deliver your box (complying with COVID restrictions, of course).
