About the Event

We are closing out our  “Taking Our Health Back” Virtual Health and Wellness Series with Hiking Heals: We Deserve This Too!  This series was created to focus on education and empowerment of health and wellness within the black community. Throughout this six week series we have offered free events that were meant to engage, elevate and empower you to join us in this movement in taking back our health!

All six of the events are focused on natural ways to take back our health through healing of the mind, body and soul.

Hiking Heals: We Deserve This Too June 10th at 6pm cst is brought to you by @Blackpeoplewhohike and will cover the following:

  • Hiking:More than a walk in the woods
  • Lack of representation in outdoor spaces
  • The barriers we must overcome and creating that safe place outdoors
  • Mental and Physical Benefits of Hiking
  • How to get started
  • Identifying Black Hiking Groups globally
  • Live Q&A

This virtual event is free, must all attendees must register! Registrants will receive a live playback of the session if you missed it and a free hiking guide provided by email upon conclusion of the class.

Upon registration you will receive further instruction on how to join the live class and what to expect!

This event is purely donation based. Any monetary amount donated goes to helping the organization push forward the #takingourhealthback and  #wehiketoo movements.  Donations can be made $Cashapp to $blackpeoplewhohike or here through the ticketing registration “Support the movement”.
