Financial Planning: Two Ways to Finance Cancer

Wed, Oct 28, 2020, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm CT

Online Event

About the Event

After the shock of a cancer diagnosis, many people wonder how they will manage the financial impact of cancer, which is different for each person and it will depend on the cancer type, stage, and treatment, as well as your financial situation before the diagnosis.

The costs can add up quickly from diagnosis all the way through recovery. These costs can be another added cause of stress, worry, and anxiety when people should be focused on treatment and healing.

Madison will explain two types of financial planning that will help you make difficult decisions.

1. Responsive financial planning – is planning in a crisis. Madison will walk through the “Tax Efficiency Checklist” with the group to show people how to take an in-depth inventory of literally everything they’re working with and how to prioritize the distribution of it using relativity.

2. Pre-emptive financial planning – is planning for something that could happen, usually extreme situations. No one is alone in financial planning. Madison will explain how entire family systems can become involved.

Come to learn about these strategies that can inspire you to make those difficult decisions. There will be a Q&A session after the discussion.

We look forward to seeing you there and connecting with you!
