12th Annual Dream Catchers Awards and Scholarship Reception

You’re cordially invited to join us at this year’s 12th Annual Dream Catchers Awards and Scholarship Reception happening on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00AM-4:30PM at 5Church. This is a signature fundraiser for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals (ULGA-YP) organization that honors college-bound high school students and community heroes who are positively impacting the metro Atlanta area. Beginning at 11:00AM, the event will consist of a seated program and brunch followed by an after vibe (with open-bar) on-site.

1:00PM-2:00PM: Reception and Networking

2:00PM-4:30PM: After Vibe with two (2) hour Open-Bar

Dream Catchers Trunk Party Donation Drive

As a part of this year’s Dream Catchers scholarship reception we are proud to send our awardees off to college as prepared as possible. Have you ever heard of a trunk party? Donating for a trunk party for high school seniors is a great way to support and congratulate graduating students as they embark on their next chapter in life. A trunk party is a celebratory event where students receive gifts that will help them furnish and prepare for their new living arrangements. By donating to a trunk party, you can help students acquire the necessary supplies and decor they need to make their new living space feel like home. This gesture not only provides practical support but also shows students that their community cares about their success and wants to support them in any way possible. So, whether you donate money, household items, or other useful gifts, you can make a positive impact on the lives of these young adults and help them start their new journey with a smile. Items can be brought to the Dream Catchers event. Help ULGA-YP raise funds through our Dream Catchers raffle! (Value – $600)

Thanks to a generous donation from Total Wine & More, enter to win the opportunity to treat your friends, family, and fellow wine lovers to a private wine tasting for up to 20 people in the classroom of one of their stores! Total Wine & More will host an event that is certain to impress you and your guests. Enjoy a tour of the land and learn about the famed appellations and grape varietals that make each region so unforgettable. Taste a variety of our premium, hand-selected wines and discover hidden treasures from the wine region of your choosing. One of our wine experts will present and discuss each delicious wine during your two hour class, which can be arranged as a seated class-style or more casual walk-around event. Total Wine & More will provide all necessary stemware and educational handouts for tasting notes. Raffle tickets are $10. You do not have to be present at Dream Catchers to win, however, a response must be received no later than Friday, June 9th to claim your prize.

Other items to be raffled include registration to the NULYP Southern Region Conference to be held in Atlanta, GA from September 29-October 1, 2023 and one-year membership to ULGA-YP.
