About the Event
Purposeful Living & Giving
Every year, Purposeful Living & Giving “Makes a Difference” for the less fortunate and
underserved families in our community. Our community service projects include Back to
School, addressing Food Insecurity, Support for Seniors/Cancer Survivors, and our
largest program, Making a Difference Holiday Gift Drive. This drive is an integral element
of our annual Boots and Bow Ties Fundraising Soiree.

The Boots & Bow Ties event will be held on:
Saturday, December 17, 2022
from 1 pm to 5pm EST
at Martins Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Dr, Greenbelt, MD. 20770
Our event will offer hot Hors D ’Oeuvres, live entertainment by The Chocolate Factory Band
and the sounds of DJ DrewQue as well as carving station, etc.
Our commitment to health and safety require us to ask that patrons be considerate of those with concerns about the spread of Covid and govern themselves accordingly to ensure a safe and worry free experience

- Gold Sponsor (Angels) Donation: $500 – $999
The Boots and Bow Ties experience plus reserved seating, multimedia marketing
opportunities, acknowledgement at the event and on our website with your logo. Five (5) additional free tickets
- Platinum Sponsor (Christmas Miracles) Donation: $1,000+

We are managed by a Board of 12 members who are actively engaged in the planning and execution of programs and their associated events throughout the year to support our mission. To support our projected growth in “giving” a membership group named the Friends of Purposeful Living & Giving will be formally organized and established.
