On June 19th, 2021 Empire Fashion Firm is premiering “Blackness is Luxury,” a Juneteenth Fashion Film that explores the culture of the black diaspora and their contributions to luxury through a story that includes 2 Micro-Fashion Shows and 1 Swimwear Designer Presentation.
A global audience will have the opportunity to witness what is making the city of Miami a global fashion capital as Miami sets the stage to showcase domestic & international luxury fashion.
There will be an open discussion about the future of Miami’s Fashion Industry following the screening of the short film.
This film is meant to represent diversity and engage with a wider audience that may feel ignored or misrepresented by the fashion industry and to celebrate Juneteenth with style.
