Mr. Smooth’s 4th Annual Ballroom & Steppin for Cancer Weekend 2026

Get Ready for the 4th Annual Ballroom & Steppin’ for Cancer Weekend Dinner Dance!

Presented by Mr. Smooth’s Ballroom & Steppers Express Dance Show, this highly anticipated two-day event brings together dance, elegance, and philanthropy. A portion of all proceeds will benefit The Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green. The weekend kicks off on Friday, October 2nd, at the Luxurious Ears Showplace (2140 Holbrook, Hamtramck, MI). Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the dress code is Casual Leisure in White & Pink. Sharpen your skills with Hustle lessons from “Bad Girl Choreographer” Wanda Mack from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by Steppin’ lessons with “The Great” Sherry Gordon  from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Afterward, the dance floor stays open until 2:00 AM!

The excitement continues on Saturday, October 3rd, as the festivities move to The Madison Place Event Center (876 Horace Brown Drive, Madison Heights, MI). Starting at 5:00 PM in Black & Pink Formal attire, the evening begins with a live filming of Mr. Smooth’s Ballroom & Steppers Express TV Show until 6:30 PM. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner at 7:00 PM, leading into a night of dancing featuring the incredible Claude “DJ House” Milhouse on the main decks and a special live performance by R&B crooner Carmichael Music Lover.
