Our Go Red with ABDO initiative is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting heart health, aligning with the American Heart Association’s mission and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s International Program initiative: Uplift Our Community. We’ve designed this event to educate, empower, and energize attendees with a range of engaging activities that put heart health front and center.

Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death for women, disproportionately affecting Black women? Many women remain unaware of their risk or the signs and symptoms of cardiac events, such as heart attacks. Factors like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and stress significantly elevate the risk. This is why events like Go Red with ABDO are critically important to our community.

At the Go Red with ABDO Health Expo, you’ll discover:
