Midwest Jamaica Corps
The Midwest Jamaica Corps (MIJAC) is a nonprofit organization based in Chicago, IL that aims to support the Jamaican Diaspora.
It serves to empower communities of Jamaican heritage by facilitating equitable access to resources for the advancement of cultural and economic development.
(i) To provide leadership and direction to Jamaicans and others to bolster integration, cultural understanding, and advancement of all Jamaican communities in Chicago, its environs, and the diaspora.
(ii) To serve as a comprehensive resource center for individuals of all ages and backgrounds within communities; educate and train individuals to enhance their skills and prepare them for gainful employment.
