713 CEG was recently bestowed the Presidential Lifetime
Achievement Award for Volunteer Service
713 Community Empowerment Group is a 501c3 100% volunteer-run
nonprofit organization that serves the needs of women and girls
of The Greater Chicago metropolitan area and its surrounding
areas. Founded in 2009, the organization started as a small
community project helping underserved women with their basic
skill needs. One year later 713 CEG launched a new program by
the name of Prom Girls Rock. To-date, we have helped thousands
of girls be able to attend their prom by giving away beautiful,
donated gowns and accessories.
