About the Event
Over the past century, Xi Lambda chapter and its members have made a significant impact on the Chicagoland community and even nationally. From businessman John H. Johnson to Illinois House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch, Xi Lambda members have and continue to be trailblazers making history in their respective fields.
To celebrate the chapter and its prominent history, join us for an incredible kickoff to Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s centennial year with the grand opening of the chapter’s history exhibit and a panel discussion featuring some of the chapter’s most esteemed members. Refreshments will be served.

Xi Lambda Centennial
In 2024, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Xi Lambda chapter will celebrate its centennial. Xi Lambda has a long and proud tradition of serving its community. For one hundred years, the organization has advocated for causes that create positive, lasting change for the Chicagoland community.
Through our centennial celebrations, we will bring together prominent speakers, distinguished guests, the more than 300 members of Xi Lambda chapter along with other members of Black Greek Letter Organizations (BGLO) to celebrate our amazing milestone at seven events in 2024 that will be attended by more than 2,000 people.
