Want an introductory camping experience? Join us for a three day, two nights, gear-provided weekend out at Bomax Ranch and Retreat! Come learn basic skills like tent setup and foraging. We’ll also have an archery workshop and an introduction to wilderness skills. Connect with skilled outdoors people & connect with other nature-curious folks. All camping gear and meals provided.
* Send an email letting us know if you have a friend who purchased a ticket and you would like to bunk with them! Just bring your clothing, a pillow, & linens.
*Dogs are welcome as long as they are 20IB and leashed/kenneled at all times. No dogs in bathroom or buildings. Owners must clean up their poop!!!!
Mission: We want to create a space where black nature lovers can: learn from skilled black outdoorspeople reconnect to the land & build community.
Setup:
This three-day, two-night introductory campout for Adults 21+. will provide participants with the opportunity to learn wilderness skills from local black educators and build connections with community members through group workshops!
Day 1: Participants will arrive, learn how to pitch their tent and bond over a bonfire dinner!
Day 2: We are offering four workshops and at night we will have a DJ and bonfire.
Day 3: Muay Thai Class and goodbyes!
