Hike/Event Information

Trail Location: Will Rogers State Historic Park

Address: Parking lot, Will Rogers State Park Rd, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272

Time: 8:00AM

Hike Leader: Tiffany

Duration: 1.5-2 hours, depending on the group’s pace

Distance: 2.2 miles

Elevation Gain: 337ft

Difficulty: This trail is wide and mostly flat, following a steady incline to the top of Inspiration Point, providing gorgeous views of Los Angeles and the ocean.

From the AllTrails description regarding accessibility: There is 1 designated accessible space in the paved parking lot off of Will Rogers State Park Road at the south end of the trail. It is van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is a natural surface (dirt, rocks, roots). It is typically at least 6 feet wide. The most accessible portion of the trail is the first about 0.3 miles and access is best starting from the Will Rogers Stables. The majority of the trail is estimated to be in the moderately steep (5-8%) grade category but there are steeper sections at about 0.0-0.1, 0.3, 0.6-1.0, 1.4, and 1.6 miles when going clockwise. All-terrain tires or motorized equipment may be needed for the surface type and grade. Trail goers using wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers may need assistance along this entire route due to the consistent sections above a 5% grade (especially if using manual equipment).

Recommended to Bring/Wear: Water and snacks. Comfortable shoes. Sunscreen/hat.

Meeting Place: Details will be sent in the email prior to the event.

Note: There is a $12 day use fee for parking ($3 per hour).
