The Urban League of Union County (ULUC) is a non-profit community service organization founded in 1944 and incorporated in 1952. We are one of 90 affiliates of the National Urban League. Our mission is to “Enable African Americans and other underserved urban residents to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.” The Urban League has a trained staff oversees training programs, secures jobs, motivates youth, host community events, and provides essential services in education, housing, health, employment, and welfare.
