Join us in October for a hike or just to ‘wine’ a bit!
Saturday, October 9
TRAIL: Peace Valley Park
TIME: HIKE BEGINS AT 10:15am, WE ARE ESTIMATED TO ARRIVE AT THE WINERY BY NOON
(There will be a 15 minute grace period. Due to time constraints we unfortunately cannot wait longer than 15 minutes. Trap-N-Trail reps will be on hand as early as 10am for anyone that wants to arrive early. )
MEETING POINT: Peace Valley Park Nature Center – 170 N Chapman Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901 (There is a slight chance your GPS will attempt to have you drive past the nature center, however, you will notice that the road is closed to vehicles, and you will see signs for parking. Please refer to our Instagram for all images.)
DISTANCE: Less than 3 miles but probably more than 2
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy, but the ground is inconsistent and goes from flat to grassy to rocky. We encourage everyone to wear long pants. All trails are kid friendly but you have to know your child. Can they walk 2.5 miles? Will a consistent incline be too difficult? Etc. Please do not hesitate to DM us on Instagram if you have specific questions
WINE: Ok, this is probably the part that everyone is waiting for! Bishop Estates Winery is located less than 10 minutes away from Peace Valley Park. So after we walk, why not wine? Bishop Estate Winery will be celebrating their Harvest Weekend, featuring horse drawn wagon rides and more! Everything is pay-as-you-go, so while we will visit together, everyone is free to explore on their own and there will be no group reservation. If you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to DM us on Instagram.
We will meet at the winery around noon, so if you’re not up for a hike and just want to sit and sip, you can join us at noon for just this portion of the day.
