Please join the men of Sigma Omega Chapter for an evening of dining and dancing as we celebrate the impact that Sigma Omega Chapter has had on Chicago, Omega Psi Phi, Its Districts, Its Chapters, and throughout the world.
Sigma Omega Chapter has always been home to outstanding and talented men that goes all the way back to its founding. The legendary Benjamin Elijah Mays was one of our charter members, along with Carter Walker Wesley, the first Black person to receive a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University. Along the way, Sigma Omega has produced the first Black CPA in the state of Illinois, Brother G. Stevens Marchman, as well as the first Black Superintendent of Police in the city of Chicago, Brother Fred Rice. Sigma Omega Chapter has had a profound effect well beyond the fraternity.
