Cocktails En Blanc an All-White Affair
celebrating the amazing career of
J. Ivy
The evening has been created in a Cocktail Party atmosphere and will consist of great live music by Kendre’ Music, DJ Tone, Complimentary Champagne Welcome, Special Guest Host-Mary Datcher and a Video Montage of some of the great artistry of our own “Chicago Native Son”. The attire is All White of course.
and we are all coming together for a night of celebration and a magical embrace of
Black Excellence!

Eve Maria Bridgeforth began coordinating events 2004 just as a hobby. Embracing her past of dancing with the Chicago City Ballet and a passion for teaching young children for ten years in the private school sector….her love for parties, creativity and planning for others began to take shape. The first major job came in October of 2002 with the Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce and the rest is history. A recipient of the 2010 “Network of the Year Award” by the Chicago Association of Minority Recruiters, a recipient of the 2011 “Women of Excellence Award” by the Chicago Defender, A recipient of the “Art & Creativity Award” by Sibs Breakfast Club and most recently, celebrating the 16th Annual Summer Breeze Jazz Concert Series for 2022. Events by Eve is quickly becoming the fastest growing event planning service in Chicago. With a client list that includes Exelon, Magic Johnson Enterprises, Allstate and Moet/Hennessy…the dream is well on it’s way!
