The People’s Music School Open House

The People’s Music School’s Associate Board invites you to get to know the School: an organization that’s been on the forefront of social change and racial equity through free music education since 1976. You’ll hear from our President & Artistic Director, Jennifer Kim Matsuzawa on how TPMS is making a difference with students, families, and communities across the city. Our Mission is to deliver access to the benefits of high-quality, tuition-free music education. Through intensive instruction and performance, our students achieve excellence in music that transfers to other areas in life. They grow musically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, and develop a foundation of responsibility, self-esteem, resilience and purpose.
