The setting of this stage-play in one act is in 2022, after the COVID-19 pandemic. We find ourselves in the bathroom of a millennial Black man, un-named, living in New York City. The bathroom is modern and modest, not overtly extravagant, but enough – simple enough. It is after midnight on a Thursday, the weather outside of the home where the bathroom is; is pleasant.

The story follows the internal workings of our protagonist, un-named, who is seeking to find his way off the bathroom floor. We seek to ask in this piece: how can we help black men off their bathroom floors?
