Join us as we kick off our “Taking Our Health Back“ Virtual Event Series with yoga On Wednesday May 6th at 6pm cst!

Taking Our Health Back is a virtual event series focusing on  health and wellness within the black community. Throughout this six week series we will offer free events focused on uplifting your mind, body and soul.

Harmonizing Your Mind, Body & Soul: Intro to Yoga on May 6th at 6pm cst is in collaboration with @TheCollectiveStl and will cover the following!

  • What is yoga?
  • Benefits of Yoga
  • Yoga as a form of healing for the Black Community
  • How to get started
  • Step by step instruction on beginner yoga poses
  • 30 minute guided yoga class

This virtual event is free, but we ask that all attendees register! Registrants will receive a live playback of the class if you missed it and a free intro to yoga guide provided by email upon conclusion of the class.

Upon registration you will receive further instruction on how to join the live class and what to expect!

This event is purely donation based. Any monetary amount donated goes to helping the organization push forward the #takingourhealthback and  #wehiketoo movements.  Donations can be made $Cashapp to $blackpeoplewhohike or here through the ticketing registration “Support the movement”.
