About the Event

Black People Who Hike and  Black Girls Boulder are joining forces for an ultimate climbing experience  to introduce black folks to bouldering! 

We are kicking  off with an introductory course in bouldering at Climb So ILL rock climbing gym in St. Charles, MO on Saturday October 17th. The cost to attend is $15 and includes climbing shoes, instruction from the gym and 2 hours of open climb.

This is a co-Ed event open to indiviuals who will be rock climbing or bouldering for the first time. No prior experience necessary. Open to experienced climbers as well. 

Tiffany Blount, the Founder of Blacks Girls Boulder  has an extensive background in climbing and bouldering and will also be hands on with instruction. Upon instruction we will open climb for a couple hours allowing everyone the opportunity to play around and get the hang of it. 

Masks are required and everyone will be required to sign a waiver with the gym. All participants must sign the waiver prior to arriving. Click  HERE to sign the waiver with the gym.

What to wear:

  • athletic breathable clothes. avoid loose-fitted tops.
  • climbing shoes will be provided by the gym.
