About the Event

Brown Girls Do Invest is (BGDI) excited to provide a webinar for the youth in our community to acquire financial literacy.

According to The Motley Fool, “A teen who saves $290 a month consistently for four years of high school will have roughly $14,000 on hand once college rolls around. Sticking to a budget at a young age can set the stage for a more financially stable adult lifestyle, so it’s encouraging to see that more than 40% of teens actually map out their spending.”

Join BGDI and presenter, Delia Williams, M.S., teach ages 10 – 17 years old on how to practice positive money habits.

The discussion will cover the following:

  • How to Budget
  • Ways to Save
  • How to understand the stock market & invest
