About the Event
The JewelRide Classic is a community golf tournament organized by JewelRide to benefit T&R Philanthropies, a 501 (c)(3) whose sole mission is to provide resources and scholarships for disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe. Unlike the U.S., in Zimbabwe free school does not exist. These children without the help of T&R would unfortunately not have the opportunity to attend primary and secondary school. In disadvantaged communities, education is often the only way out of poverty. A donation of $250 covers the cost to send one child to school for an entire school year, which includes tuition, uniform, books and supplies. T&R currently has 30 students they sponsor and the goal this year is to double the number of students. All proceeds raised through the JewelRide Classic will be matched 100% by JewelRide!

JewelRide is a forward looking specialized healthcare mobility company with a unique focus on non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT). Our holistic approach allows us to cater for the needs of individuals, families and communities in Southern Illinois operating out of our base in Edwardsville, IL. We cover all villages, towns and cities in Madison and St Clair counties as well as the wider Metro East area. We also transport people who have medical travel needs into and out of the greater St Louis metro area, MO.
JewelRide was started by a pediatrician and a pharmacist couple who felt inspired to provide such a critical service after realizing how transportation constraints affected access to quality health care and well-being. JewelRide continues to be inspired in its approach to provide a seamless experience to current and future partners.
