About the Event

DBC Gifts of Love, NFP is holding its Annual 5K Run/ Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, July 23, 2022, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Vollmer Road Grove Forest Preserve in Country Club Hills, Illinois. The event will be held in person and virtually. The proceeds from this event will be used to purchase book bags and school supplies for homeless school aged children and families in need.

DBC Gifts of Love, NFP is a community outreach of DBC (Destiny Business Centre) Offices and DBC Nation, that gives back to those in need in the Chicago Southland area, with an emphasis on Matteson and the surrounding suburbs.  It is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 community organization which helps entrepreneurs and community leaders give back to those in need with love and care. Items collected go directly to organizations or schools. The organization has conducted food drives, winter accessory and toy drives for fire victims, and annual school supply and book bag drives for homeless school children and families in need.
