Do you need help preparing your child for the upcoming CPS selective enrollment exam? Are you interested in test prep/ tutoring enrichment for gifted programs or perhaps your child is specifically testing for early entrance to Kindergarten? You’ve come to the place!
This is a unique academic enrichment program that helps children ages 4-5 get ready for the test and advance their thinking skills through a series of fun and intriguing questions, puzzle play and engaging brain boosting activities.
We’ll spark your child’s natural curiosity as they learn to focus, pay attention and experience significant academic gains in reading, math, and vocabulary.
This program was designed by multi award-winning educator, children’s book author: Lemi-Ola Erinkitola.
For over a decade, this one-of-a-kind program continues to yield high achieving results for young learners and offers great benefits for busy parents seeking support on academic Kindergarten readiness, summer enrichment or selective enrollment test prep.
SUCCESS RATE
Students typically learn 3-5x faster than in traditional tutoring programs
*90% students receive qualifying scores for gifted and classical admissions.
Programs support both selective enrollment gifted and classical test prep and teaches above grade level reading, math and critical thinking skills.
Practice skills include but not limited to:
COURSE SKILLS:
S – spatial (sequencing patterns and shapes )
M – math (counting, adding, subtracting, fractions, telling time, word problems)
A – analogy (comparing and contrasting pictures and words)
R – reading (phonics, grammar, vocabulary)
T – thinking critically (abstract questioning)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Note: CTC Test prep workbooks (yellow, green and blue books) are not required for this class (but highly recommended) and can be purchased separately.
SNACK:
Please be sure participants eat before class. No food will be served. Participants may choose to pack a snack but no food will be allowed in the classrooms. Drinking water before and after the session is recommended.
POLICIES/TERMS
All parents must sign and return the media release/hold harmless form before their child can participate in the program. Some sessions may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
Parent Participation
We are REQUIRING parents or guardians to wait in the seating area outside the classroom during the sessions. Parents in the PREK-K class must be available to escort their child to and from the restroom if needed.
Note – Parents can not alternate between morning and afternoon sessions. No make-up session permitted. Parents must remain on campus.
REFUNDS/MAKEUPS
Please note that sessions cannot be transferred to someone else or carried over to a later time. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed, and there is an additional fee for any sessions you miss and want to make up. We do not provide refunds or prorated fees for absences, illness, vacation, tardiness, or cancellations caused by bad weather, road closures, COVID-related closures, or any other circumstances beyond control.
Participation in this program does not guarantee admission to gifted or selective enrollment program.
We reserve the right to cancel classes in the event of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
