About the Event

Join Undone and Raspy Rivera for CommUNITY, a pop-up yoga class and live art experience honoring Black History Month, on Saturday, February 11 at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, a multidisciplinary home for the arts at the University of Chicago campus in the city of Chicago.

Doors will open at 10:15 a.m., and the experience will begin at 10:30 a.m. Space is limited and will be prioritized to individuals that identify as BIPOC; all are welcome.

All attendees will take part in a 60-minute flow and leave with a 4×4 original piece from Raspy Rivera.

Yoga mats will not be provided.

The Flow: Embody unity with this 60-minute, beginner-friendly vinyasa flow, connecting mind body, and spirit and live art display with Raspy Rivera. Throughout class, Paige Willis will guide you through a series of heart-focused yoga poses to generate a sense of love for yourself and your community.  You’ll set an intention, move to the beat of your breath, bring oxygen to you muscles and melt tension through breathwork, meditation, and yoga.

The Instructor: Class will be led by Paige Willis, a Chicago-based yoga instructor with a passion for cultivating spaces that promote strength and celebration of self. She’s certified to teach a power vinyasa style, linking breath and movement through Yoga Alliance.
