About the Event

Join us in commemorating a monumental milestone—the 55th Anniversary of the Chicago Association of Black Social Workers (CABSW)! Founded in 1969 by 11 pioneering social workers, our organization has been steadfast in its mission to combat the injustices faced by the African American community.

This year, our anniversary celebration will serve as a fundraiser to support our scholarship programs and committees, ensuring we can continue our vital work. The evening will feature entertainment by Honey Water Live Band, exciting raffles, and a dynamic keynote address by Congressman Bennie Thompson.

Come celebrate our rich history and contribute to the future of The Chicago Association of Black Social Workers. Together, we can continue making a difference in the lives of countless individuals
