NSN Backpack to Briefcase 2.15.20 Workshop

Backpack to Briefcase Mentoring and Scholarship Program (BPBC)i s an invaluable practicum created to foster the college student’s transition from student to young professional. Deemed an essential catalyst, the BPBC is a proven Experimental Learning Model that provides participants with the professional exposure and development that is a critical component associated with :

• Building Strong Networks
• Navigating the Career Search Process
• Surviving the New Hire Phase
• Shortening Learning Curves
• Sustaining Career Pathways

In participating in the BPBC Program Students will be expected to attend the following events/workshops:

• February 1st – Orientation/Program Kickoff @ Harris Stowe State University William L Clay Sr. Early Childhood Center 10 N Compton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103 11am-2pm
• February 8th -NSN State of the Organization Jazz Brunch @ Mad Art Gallery 2727 S 12th Street, St. Louis, MO 63104 11am-2pm $35
• February 15th -BPBC Workshop Series @ Harris Stowe State University William L Clay Sr. Early Childhood Center 10 N Compton Ave, St. Louis, MO 8am-12pm
• February 29th- BPBC Workshop Series @ Harris Stowe State University William L Clay Sr. Early Childhood Center 10 N Compton Ave, St. Louis, MO 8am-12pm
• March 21 – BPBC Interviews @ Harris Stowe State University William L Clay Sr. Early Childhood Center 10 N Compton Ave, St. Louis, MO 8am-12pm
• March 31st- Awards Reception @ Nestle Purina 800 Chouteau Ave, St. Louis, MO 5-8pm

Upon conclusion of the BPBC program a select number of students will be awarded scholarships including, but not limited to BPBC Scholar, Purina Scholar and NSN Scholar.
