Thanksgiving Community Meal Volunteer Registration!

On Thursday, November 25, 2021, Mel Trotter Ministries will host a free, traditional Thanksgiving Community Meal for individuals and families experiencing homelessness as well as anyone in the greater Grand Rapids community who is looking for fellowship around a Thanksgiving table.

We can’t have this meal without the hundreds of volunteers who serve! Please register to volunteer for one of the areas listed in the ticket section.

To volunteer in the kitchen, volunteers must be at least 18-years old. 

Each volunteer must register as an individual. All volunteers must be registered to attend. NOTE: For youth ages 10 and under, please choose the “Youth Ticket” option.

Group Leaders- Everyone in your group must register. Being placed next to each other is not guaranteed, but we will place groups as close as possible. 

***Mel Trotter Ministries is committed to the health and safety of our community. In accordance with CDC guidelines and best practices to keep our community safe, the following safety precautions have been put in place. 

• All  guests and volunteers will be required to wear a new clean mask, provided upon entry, unless eating 
• Temperature checks for all in attendance 
• Single, pre-packaged meals will be served at the tables
• Fewer tables and fewer people at each table to allow for social distancing.
• Hand sanitizing stations will be available at every entry point , various locations throughout the event, including registration and check-in along with at each table in the dinning hall  

Should there be a change in guidelines prior to the event, we will communicate that to everyone who has registered to volunteer.
