Calling all High School Students, Parents, & Guardians…


Are you a High School Student in the Chicagoland area and suburbs? If so, you will not want to miss this! 


This is your opportunity to get involved with one of the nation’s Premier Student Leadership Programs…The National Black MBA Association’s Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT)Program.

Since its inception in 1991, the NBMBAA® Leaders of Tomorrow® Program has mentored more than 8,000 talented youth aspiring to leadership roles in professional fields. The LOT® Program is a comprehensive programmatic approach for providing leadership development to high school students. The program is driven by mentoring across five developmental areas: LeadershipFinancial LiteracyCollege Preparation, Career Preparation and Life Skills. The program offers participants resources, knowledge and opportunities in the way of mentoring relationships, scholarships, and internships.


So if STEM, Business Opportunities, Networking, Achieving Academic Excellence, College Visits, Corporate Visits, Executive Mentors, and Scholarship Opportunities sound good to you, then join us on October 3rd as we kick off our 2020/2021 season! 


For this year’s kickoff, we are excited to be partnering with the esteemed Professional Poet & Author: J. Ivy

J. Ivy is an Award Winning Performance Poet, Recording Artist, Song Writer, Author and Actor. Over the years his work has earned him a Peabody, Clio, Telly, and NAACP Image Award and he is widely known for being the “Poet” featured on Kanye West’s Grammy Winning Album, “The College Dropout,” on the classic song “Never Let Me Down,” along with Hip-Hop icon Jay-Z.

Our Mission: The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African Americans.  Providing innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth.  Building partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth.  Increasing awareness and facilitating access to graduate management education programs and career opportunities in management fields.
Our Local Vision: Increase the number of successful African American professionals in the business community.  The CCNBMBAA is a professional Organization that serves as a resource for communicating information and ideas among Black Executives, Entrepreneurs, Educators, and Students in the Chicago area who are interested in improving the effectiveness of Black businesses and Black business professionals.   
The goals and objectives of the CCNBMBAA are:

Establish and maintain an effective information and communications network which will serve the membership and the business community.
Provide continuing business education as a means of improving and maintaining the skills and effectiveness of the members and support the efforts of those planning to pursue advanced business degrees.
Provide scholarships for those intending to pursue business related degrees. Encourage scholarly research in those areas of business which affect the Black community.
Provide a service to the community, whenever requested, managerial and technical assistance to Black Entrepreneurs and businesses.
